How do muscle relaxants?

The muscle contracture occurs by activation of one type of nerves that control muscles. When activated, it releases some substances that bind to receptors and cause muscle and maintain their contraction.

muscle relaxants inhibit this effect through several mechanisms. The main is that its molecules occupy the receptors that have the muscle, without causing them to contract. In so doing, prevent that substances released by the nerve can be fixed to the receiver, thereby avoiding its effects.
